My Three Year Old CX Consultant

I was in the waiting room of a doctor's office with my 3 year old daughter when she noticed a light bulb that was out. 💡 My. Three. Year. Old. 👶

Those of you who have worked with me before probably know I immediately felt very proud! 💁‍♂️

But, joking aside, it made me think about how many times we walk into businesses with a cleanliness or maintenance issue. Sometimes we notice consciously. We always notice subconsciously. Walt Disney had it right when he said, "People can feel perfection." 💯

Customers will likely never mention a small cleanliness or maintenance issue to a business, but they will absolutely notice it and it will absolutely leave a subconscious impression on them about the business. (The same goes for vehicles if the business makes house calls.) 🚗

If you run a business, take a moment today to look at your space from the perspective of an arriving customer. Make sure you're giving them the best impression you can. Think about how you can improve the sight lines, smells, comfort and overall ambiance. 🎵

Afterall, you never know when you'll have a very observant 3 year old come in and start pointing out all your issues to their parents 😉
